CHAIRMAN

Ambassador Harold E. Doley JR was 26 when he bought a seat on the New York Stock Exchange in 1973, becoming the only African American to do so.  He founded investment bank Doley Securities, LLC in 1975. Over the decades, the company serviced banks, insurance companies, public and corporate pension plans, and university endowments totaling tens of billions of US Dollars. Ambassador Doley has advised African stock exchanges and the bodies that regulate them.

Ambassador Doley was an underwriting member at Lloyd's of London. He was a founding member of the US - Africa Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the investment committee of the Southern Africa Enterprise Development Fund.

The President of the United States of America accorded ambassadorial rank to Mr Doley, JR when appointing him Representative to the African Development Bank and Fund (AfDB) between 1983 (when the country became a stockholder) and 1985. A former university trustee, he has been awarded three honorary doctorate degrees.


Jim Rogers Investment Expert and Author Jim Rogers, a native of Demopolis, Alabama, is an author, financial commentator, adventurer, and successful international investor.  After attending Yale and Oxford University, Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund, a global-investment partnership, Rogers serves as a full professor of finance at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and, in 1989 and 1990, he was the moderator of WCBS's 'The Dreyfus Roundtable' and FNN's 'The Profit Motive with Jim Rogers'.

Dr. Chung was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and an honorary degree of Doctor of Economics by the Beijing Normal University, China. Dr. Chung serves as a director of the board and a honorary fellow of the University of Nottingham, an honorary patron and fellow of the Hong Kong University Foundation, member of MIT Sloan Asian Executive Board and member of the CCB of the Oxford University. Dr. Chung is the chairman of Chung Hon Dak Foundation and China Energy Storage Holdings Limited. China Energy Storage is principally engaged in the R&D, application and production of big scale energy storage systems, vanadium redox batteries and its auxiliary materials and equipment. China Energy Storage has so far obtained dozens of innovative patents. By completing applied researches on various new production processes, China Energy Storage has achieved and mastered the know-how and findings of the innovation and technologies in the whole vanadium industry chain.

Dirk Hoke Dirk is the CEO of Airbus Defence and Space and a member of the Airbus Group Executive Committee.  He joined Airbus in 2016 after serving as CEO of the Large Drives business unit at Siemens. Dirk began his professional career in 1994 as an R&D Engineer for process and software analysis at Renault.  He joined Siemens in 1996, where he held various management positions with the Transportation Systems Division before relocating to Sacramento, USA in 2001 as head of the Transportation Systems restructuring team.  Following a promotion to President of Siemens Transportation Systems China, Dirk moved to Morocco in 2008 as head of Siemens’ Africa activities.  He returned to Germany in 2011 as Division CEO of Industrial Solutions at Siemens, and later headed up the Large Drives Business Unit.
